By booking a consultation with Jane Ray you agree to the terms listed below.

Booking:

When booking your consultation please check you have chosen the right time zone. I am in the UK so I may be working at different times than you expect.

Cancellations:

If you need to cancel or change an appointment Please give a minimum of 24 hours notice. 

I often have a waiting list for last minute consults so please give me as much notice as possible so I can rebook the slot.

Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice may be charged the full fee.

The Consultation:

The Consultation will take place at the time indicated. If you arrive late to the meeting, we will still have to finish at the correct time so that I am ready for my next client. You will be charged the full consultation rate.

For video consultations I will send you a link to join the video meeting. If for any reason it does not work we will find another way to communicate. Please check your emails before your consultation is about to begin.

I might ask you for more information or photographs, we can discuss this as required during your consultation. This may be required to help determine the right remedy.

Contact Between Consultations:

This will be discussed at your consultation. I might ask for email updates in-between consultations if needed.

Pharmacy:

I will send you a prescription for your remedies after our consultation. I will also send you a contact of where to purchase them. You can purchase the remedies from other sources if you have them.

First Aid Prescribing:

We will discuss taking other remedies during your treatment. First aid consultations can also be booked in between consultations if you have an acute symptom you need help with. For minor acutes that come up between appointments please do contact me by email for free advice if this is straightforward to remedy, or if your most recent appointment was within 3 weeks I may suggest a 10min call to clarify details but if more time is required an acute consultation may be necessary.

Homeopathy alongside mainstream Healthcare:

Homeopathy works well alongside mainstream healthcare programs and medications. You will not be asked to come off medications during your treatment. You may be asked to go for additional health checks to see if your medications are still required.

Homeopathy is not instead of Accident and Emergency Care:

If you need emergency health care please contact your Doctor or Emergency Services.

Emergency Service:

I cannot provide an emergency service. If you need emergency care please contact the emergency services.

Privacy Policy & Confidentiality:

I will not share your details with anyone. I am registered with The Society of Homeopaths and abide by data protection laws in the UK.

Emails:

When you book a consultation with me, I will add your email address to my own client list so that I can contact you about your consultations, about news and blogs, and about learning more about homeopathy. You can unsubscribe from this list at any time.

Health Notes:

I am required by law to keep your consultation notes for 7 years. These will not be shared with anyone unless the law requires me to submit information for the protection of life.

The Consultation:

Everything discussed at each consultation is confidential and will not be discussed with anyone else unless I have your specific instruction & permission to discuss your information with other health professionals.

Code of Conduct:

I abide by the Society of Homeopaths Code of Ethics

Technology:

The use of Internet, video calls, messenger, emails or telephone calls: I will take every precaution reasonable possible to ensure the privacy of your information but it cannot be guaranteed across these technologies although Zoom seems to have the most secure connection currently.

Payment:

I will send an invoice through to you after the consultation.

Please settle your invoice within 24 hours of your consultation.

You can choose to pay by credit/debit card using Paypal or Stripe using the link provided or by direct Bank Transfer:  If you prefer this method please advise so I can give you my account details. 

Vouchers:

Vouchers can be used to offset against the full price of a single consultation but cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers.

Consultation Packages:

I offer a series of discounts for prepaid packages. Please see my consultations page for current packages.

Technology:

I use Zoom, WhatsApp, Facetime or Messenger for Video calls. Please use email for contact between consultations.

Taking Homeopathic Remedies 

Homeopathic remedies are high dilutions of natural substances & are assimilated through the saliva NOT through the digestion, therefore please take your remedies away from food (ideally at least 20mins before or after eating, longer if eating anything strong tasting ie mint, coffee etc - then wait 30-40mins) Note - this does not mean you need to eat before or after only that if you have eaten you wait at least 20mins before taking a remedy and ensure you wait at least 20mins afterwards before eating.  Please leave the remedy in your mouth or under the tongue to dissolve.  (This is very important if your remedy is a once a day/week/month dose rather than a remedy taken 2-3 times a day). 

Note - If you have any symptoms after taking a remedy please get in touch, these may be a clearing of sorts in the form of a discharge or cold, very occasionally symptoms can intensify then improve.  If this is uncomfortable or you are concerned please get in touch by email.
